I Got 99 Problems But a Win Ain't One (not even one)

The New Jersey Nets are 0-17, tying the record for the worst NBA start in history [1999 clippers, 1989 Heat]. On Wednesday, Cuban's hot Dallas Mavericks come to Jersey, which probably spells the breaking of the record. It's pretty sad because this team does have some talent, however the talent is getting fed up. After tying the record Sunday night versus the Lakers in J A Adande town, Devin Harris who scored 16 points for the Nets. said "I don't want to be associated with it, that's one record you don't ever want to be a part of." Players like Chris Douglas- Roberts [CDR], the super star from Memphis has been solid as well as Stanford's Brook Lopez, Rafer Alston and Courtney Lee are also decent. I would normally claim that Connecticut's Josh Boone was solid too, until he air balled a free throw in there 11th game vs Denver. Terrence Williams, their rookie is also pretty good, but its hard to get recognition when your team is 0- 17.

Lawrence Frank, the Net's now ex coach was fired earlier last week after failing to acquire a win. This is slightly ironic due to the fact when he started coaching he was 13- 0. Funny how these things turn out.

With Jay- Z 's part ownership, and the recent purchase of the majority share buy Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, the team will be moving to Brooklyn next season.

New Jersey;s next opponents are Dallas and Charlotte at home then New York which is probably their last chance at a win anytime soon (until they play the Timberwolves again)

I think this losing streak is quite funny, let's see how long it lasts
