Today is October 26th and the Dolphins are 2-4. I however am content. The more difficult part of their schedule behind them the future is bright for the scrappy phins. The losses at Atlanta and San Diego where legitimate, however the Dolphins seriously scared the undefeated Colts and Saints at home. This past weekend the dolphins ran away with a 24-3 lead before being beaten by arguably the best quarterback in the NFL Drew Brees. What makes this worse is the Dolphins could have traded for Brees three years ago, but the douche bag now Alabaman, Nick Saban didn't think he would heal adequately, great. Brees put up 276 yards on the phins defense, nice job Saben. Anyway, the game showed me the phins can compete with the best, which I did not see last year. Versus the Colts the Dolphins had possession for a whopping 45 minutes of the game, however Payton Manning's cannon proved to be too much for the Dolphins weak secondary. The wildcat is still working, and my fears about Chad Henne have been squashed, for a second year man he is pretty amazing and his arm strength is exponentially better then Pennington, who was injured week 3 at the chargers. Miami's two wins are vs division opponents, which is perfect, however the Jets will be looking for revenge next week in the Meadowlands, let's see if the "Sanchise" can stop playing like a rookie long enough to score some points on offense. Joey Porter is getting healthier every week (maybe Sanchez should skip the hot dogs this week), and the Dolphins secondary picked off Brees three times on Sunday, good luck Marky Mark. Week eight will bring the Pat's who the dolphins split with last year. With the confusion of who will be playing QB (White, Henne, Brown) hopefully the Phins can steal another W away from the Pats.
