Will. I. Am. azing

Everyone in the world, even those living under moderately sized boulders have heard of The Black Eyed Peas, who just released their third major CD The E.N.D. However, this is a story of there charismatic front man, Will. I. Am. (yes very clever).
William James Adams Jr. has had three solo CD projects, however this is the first since the mega fame of The Black Eyed Peas made Will. I. Am a house hold name.

I bought Will. I. Am's CD "Songs about Girls" shortly after it came out, because i enjoyed the single, "I Got it From My Momma". A song clearly made for the radio, yet I still enjoyed it. The CD was quickly shelved after I was through with the song. Big Mistake. This CD is now considered by myself to be one of the best in my collection, it combines catchy funk beats with clever lyrical rhetoric to be a highly entertaining hour of fun. Fifteen songs deep, all are true to the title, "Songs About Girls", times he messed up, girls he wants, and girls he loves. Although it sounds tired and cheesy, this CD is stronger then any Kanye West, 50 cent, or JayZ CD you could ever find. His level of hip hop knowledge is excellent, his rhymes are clever, real, and make sense. Will. I. Am.'s story telling makes this CD memorable, and the funk genre seems to be alive and well.

As well as the CD, Adams also broke into main stream films this summer with X Men: Origins. Will. I. Am. plays John Wraith a black cowboy by the looks of it. I have not seen the movie, but have heard good things. I will get back to you when I do see it.

Hopefully Will. I. Am. will be able to escape from the BEP long enough to grace the world with another great CD, if not he has truly delivered with "Songs About Girls"

YES PLEASE: Heartbreaker, Fantastic, One More Chance (and the rest of the CD)

Do I Have to? The Donque Song

Final Say 9.0 out of 10.0
